The A-540 host adapter from Sunrich Technology serves as a desktop or server computer PCIe to SATA 6G communication adapter. This Host Adapter is capable of adding 4 additional SATA 6G ports via a single motherboard PCIe slot to achieve greater data storage for businesses and homes. A-540 compliant with PCI-Express specification v2.0 but is also backward compatible with PCI-Express 1x, as well as SATA 3G and SATA 1.5G devices on the expansion side. The A-540 has even been proven as a low cost cloud storage server solution, with communication speeds of 1.5, 3.0, or 6.0 Gbps as it is all built around the Marvell 88SE9235 Chipset.
