(1) EVALST7540-1 ST MICRO Evaluation Board For ST7540 FSK Powerline Transceiver

STMicroelectronics offers a complete tool line, tailored to the Reference Design Board for ST-7540-1.

The ST7540 reference design has been developed as a useful tool to demonstrate how small, highperformance powerline node can be built using the ST7540 FSK transceiver. With this reference design, it is possible to evaluate the ST7540 features, in particular, its transmitting and receiving performances through actual communication on the power line.

The compact EVALST7540-1 board integrates the ST7540 Power Line Transceiver along with the power supply section, the signal coupling interface section, crystal oscillator and device protections. The coupling interface section has been realized for 72kHz communication in the CENELEC Band A, but different filter components values can be used to easily realize a coupling interface suitable for communication on other CENELEC Band A frequencies or even on Band B or C.
